Petit Fantet speaks of the scorching heat of this part of the Languedoc; as you’d expect, the final level of alcohol is high, but there is freshness and acidity to provide balance. Lots of dark kirsch and raspberry fruit, with a waft of wild herbs, earth and dense, compact tannins.
Ollieux Romanis is a magnificent property with a huge winery nestling at the centre of its vines. The winery and wine cellar were built in 1896; these buildings were built from stone quarried from within the property and they still stand proud today.
