Grown on the volcanic slopes of the Somlò hill in Hungary, a great value Furmint. With golden hues in the glass. Expect flavours of lemon, apple, lime zest, pear, and mineral notes. The wine is concentrated with mouth-watering acidity.
The Tornai Pincészet is the largest winery in Somlò. Tornai has a long winemaking tradition that often goes overlooked by drinkers who know Hungary only for its sweet Tokaji wines. Somlò is a growing area blessed with ideal growing conditions, volcanic soils, and sheltering from the elements.
