Fresh nose, fruity with notes of blackberries and dried raisins and plums and a little bit of earthiness. Delicate mineral spice, red berry jam, sweet on the palate, Burgundian in expression.
The Renner family has been cultivating vines in the village of Gols in Neusiedlersee since 1988. After spending a few years working abroad Susanne and Stefanie returned to the family winery and released their first vintage under the Rennersistas label in 2015. For the sisters, maintaining healthy vines and soil is paramount to producing honest, characterful wines. The 13 hectares of vines are farmed organically and the sisters work as naturally and meticulously as they can - both in the vineyards and in the cellar.
