Super bouncy juicy red, with notes of fresh kirsch, young strawberries and plums, and sour cherry. A nice acidic finish and slight funky fizz from the carbonic maceration. Absolutely drinkable. It definitively benefits from decanting but can also be served chilled.
Chateau Picoron is owned by an Australian family who has converted the vineyard and wine-making practices to organic. The Kalyk family is on a mission to produce hand-made wines which are both high quality and great value, expressing the true heritage of the Bordeaux region and its traditional grape varieties.
