Domaine Renaud Boyer Saint Romain Blanc
Made from 80-year-old vines this is a wonderful dry white Burgundy - concentrated with great texture and minerality. It is full of exotic aromatics, bursting with fruit and spice, mirabelle it punches above its weight. Full-bodied and rich white wine, it spends 11 months in barriques on the lees.
Renaud Boyer, originally from Meursault trained to be an engineer before switching careers and becoming a vigneron of land in Saint Romain. An organics enthusiast who had been working the vines free of chemicals since the 1980's. He cultivates his 5-hectares by hand and horse with great passion following strict organic and natural principles when making his wine, without additives or sulphur.
