White Burgundy that's rich in texture, flavour, depth, and complexity. While made in a very natural way, the wine is classic in style, with no compromise on quality but also aiming to preserve the fruit and texture of the Chardonnay grape. Flavours of ripe pears, caramel, honey, almond, butter, oak, and minerals.
Emmanuel Giboulet is somewhat of a renegade in the Burgundy bubble, resisting wholeheartedly the use of chemicals and pesticides in the vineyard. He started with a single 1 ha plot but 10 years later he had accumulated eleven hectares of vines, scattered over a few different appellations. Considered a pioneer of biodynamic farming in the region, Emmanuel’s wines are balanced, precise, and elegant.
