Remelluri Blanco is a high altitude white Rioja using all nine different varieties allowed in the DOCa, fermented and aged for 12 months in a combination of concrete and oak, then blended together and left for another 8 months in old oak. The result is a spectacularly complex white that's full-bodied and creamy, with a long finish. Ripe pears, nuts and cedar, with buttery notes balanced by quincey acidity. Stunning.
