The Verrua family have been making wine in the hills of Piedmont for over a century, now with Nadia at the helm. Innovative, creative and curious, Nadia is constantly experimenting with different fermentation vessels and winemaking techniques. No two vintages are identical, she lets the weather and the grapes dictate how they'd like to express themselves each year.
The Cascina Tavijn estate is biodynamically farmed, with grapevines along with hazelnut trees (Nadia's mother Teresa makes a mean hazelnut torte). Nadia's been helping her parents in the vineyard since she was a young child, and now heads the process herself. Their wines are always expressive, fascinating and alive, and the reflection of where they're grown is unmistakable.
