Since 2006, the Corbett family has been transforming a south-facing hillside in Devon into a thriving vineyard, incorporating both classic grape vines and more experimental varietals. Their work is all done by hand, and come harvest time their extended family and close friends all pitch in to ensure things go smoothly.
Classic styles contribute to their vintage sparkling range, which rivals that of its Champagne counterparts. Their non-vintage options and experimental wines maintain just as much fruit purity and focus as their vintage wines though, and express the beautiful English terroir that we've now come to expect from wines in the Southwest of the country. Castlewood Vineyard showcase all of their wines at a festival each year, and apart from that can only be found in a few select retailers - though that may not last for long.
